Michael Jordan selling $29M Chicago Estate
For a mere $29 million.
That’s the asking price for Jordan’s longtime family home in Highland Park, and the Chicago Tribune says that makes it the most expensive home on the market in the Windy City area at the moment. It was listed Wednesday.
It is ensconced in a compound, has 56,000 square feet of living space, nine bedrooms, 15 full baths and five fireplaces.
There also is a three-bedroom guesthouse, an indoor-outdoor pool, a tennis court, a putting green and enough garage space for 15 cars.
And naturally there’s a basketball court, in its own building.
It probably made sense for Jordan to sell the estate now that he’s working full time as the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, and no longer has regular ties to the city where he won six NBA championships.
